Dr. Arora graduated from Veterinary School in 1996. He has been actively involved in the Veterinary Industry for almost 28 years in different work environments. He has practiced at a 24-hour small animal emergency and many other small animal practices in Ontario before he joined the team of Colborne Veterinary Clinic in 2010. Dr. Arora enjoys working with small animals. He loves to discuss preventative medicine and utilizes putting the most up-to-date services available to companion animal clients and patients. In his spare time, he loves to attend online continuous education, search for new information and articles for the latest advancements in veterinary medicine. Dr. Arora acknowledges the importance of a team effort and an educated staff towards the delivery of high-quality veterinary care in a compassionate and caring manner with efficient clinic management. His areas of special interest are small animal pain management, medicine, and surgery. He is been happily married to his loving wife Suman, has two sons, Ritvik and Vaibhav and a young labrador Titus who keeps him busy the remaining time. He enjoys spending time with his family, driving, swimming, watching television and exercising in his home gym.
Dr. Richards graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1994. She has practiced in the Brantford area for the last 23 years in small animal medicine and surgery. She has an interest in avian and exotic medicine and surgery. Dr. Richards lives on a 10 acre hobby farm in the Paris area where she lives with her son Trevor, yellow lab Luke, siamese cat Henry, and Ethel the african grey parrot. When not doing the job she loves Dr Richards enjoys travelling and pursuing her favourite hobby of SCUBA diving.
Dr. Williams graduated from the DVM program at the university of Alexandria, Egypt and has a BSc of Veterinary medicine and postgraduate diploma of clinical laboratory diagnosis1992, he has awarded certificate of qualification as a Veterinarian from the American veterinary medicine association and Canadian veterinary medicine association.
Following the accreditation process in Canada, Dr. Williams was employed as a small animal veterinarian at Beattie Pet hospitals for 3 years, St. Cathrines, Ancaster, East Hamilton and Burlington before joining Colborne team and still working in an emergency hospital in the weekends.
Dr. Williams has had a lifelong love for cats and dogs with special interests in emergency medicine, surgery and small animal medicine. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family. He lives with a golden retriever and his cockatiel.

Gail joined Colborne Veterinary Clinic in 2022, bringing with her 14 years of experience within the veterinary field. Gail grew up on a dairy farm in Ancaster, where she saw firsthand the importance of having well cared for animals. She worked many years in the Client Care / Management retail sector before finding her place in the veterinary field, starting out as a client care representative, and working her way into management. Gail and her husband have a fondness for beagles and over the years have owned different varieties from the hound family. They now have two dogs, one beagle, one bleu de Gascogne and a furry feline (rescue of course) and all enjoying the couch life.
Kelly-Ann’s love for animals was evident from a very young age. Growing up on a dairy farm with horses, cows, chickens, cats, and dogs. Kelly-Ann graduated from the University of Guelph Ridgetown campus for the Veterinary Technician program in 2007. She has worked in practice ever since. Taking only a couple years off when she had children. Kelly-Ann currently has one horse, Danny, one dog, Bruce and 30 chicken (not all have names). Kelly-Ann also helps out in her community with the rabies response program.
Graduated from Ridgetown College with a diploma in Veterinary Technology in 2022, Jessie has worked in both clinical and emergency medicine, gaining experience in both. They are fond of all animals but have a soft spot for cats, as they have 3 at home. Stinky, Smudge and Athena keep them busy on the best of days. They are excited and eager to get to know both the clients and patients that come into the clinic. They hope to continue to grow their skills as a tech, while helping those in need.
Victoria is a Register Veterinary Technician that graduated from Sheridan Collage in 2018. Since then, Victoria has a special interest in nutrition, anesthesia and behavior in both cats and dogs. Her goal is to make every visit to every animal as fear free as possible. She has 5 cats of her own and has an affinity for senior cats and their welfare. In her spare time, she enjoys taking up different crafting and art activities.
Rachel is a graduate from the Georgian College Veterinary Technician program, graduating in 2017. Rachel is very excited to be getting back into a clinical setting which is a little different from where her career started off. Rachel has spent most of her technician career in a veterinary pharmaceutical research facility. Working in target animal safety, dose-finding/tolerance, and bioequivalence. Rachel has had the honour of working on some of the following medications now used in clinic: Solensia, Librela, Elura, Bexacat and Panoquell-CA1 to name a few!
Rachel is looking forward to getting back into general practice to see these medications that she worked with be used in real clinical cases! Rachel moved to Brantford from Toronto with her two cats; Midget and Zan.
Gurinder has always had a love for animals from a very young age. It started with chasing snakes when he was 6, to owning a wide variety of exotic fish. In 2021 Gurinder did his co-op placement at Colborne Veterinary Clinic and was hired on a part time basis while he completed school. Gurinder was in school to be a veterinarian, but in 2024 has decided to take a legal path and pursue animal law. In his spare time Gurinder enjoys doing boxing, professional drag racing, and going on long walks with his dog “Tyson”.
Peyton knew she wanted to be in the veterinary medicine industry her whole life. She did a co-op placement in 2019 while in high school and was hired on part-time after completion of her placement. In 2022 an opportunity arose, and Peyton joined the Colborne Veterinary Clinic team. Peyton is currently studying Animal Biology at the University of Guelph, with the hopes of one day becoming a veterinarian. In her spare time, she enjoys back country camping, riding her motorcycle, and spending time with her cat, Willow Grace.
Jaylee has had a passion for animals since she was little. Her love for animals led to her becoming an equestrian and always wanting to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. After completing her high school co-op placement with an Equine Osteopath, she decided to pursue a career in that field. Jaylee has been working as a veterinary assistant for almost a year to earn some clinical experience while beginning to pursue her career as an equine and canine osteopath through The London College of Animal Osteopathy out of the UK. Jaylee hopes to one day own her own osteopathic practice with a focus towards the equine industry.
Jaylee currently has the pleasure of owning a lovely thoroughbred mare, named Pumpkin, whom she shows Hunter Jumpers with. As well as two ponies, Nova and Cookies, as well as a German Shepherd mix named Mack.
Before Sarah could walk her mother knew she was going to be chasing animals. And she was right! Sarah has been around cats and dogs her whole life whether as pets or working with them. Sarah attended Ridgetown College in the Veterinary Technology program and graduated in 2008. After graduating, Sarah also spent 3 weeks in South Africa tracking and trapping animals, going to different farms, and learning about the animals there! Since than she has been working in clinics in different parts of Ontario learning and growing as she goes. Sarah is very fond of helping animals as well as people. Sarah was born and raised in Norfolk County and has 2 dogs and 3 cats at home.
Heather has had a passion for animals since a young age, spending time working in multiple veterinary clinics, dog daycares and boarding facilities. She enjoys the opportunity to build relationships with clients and their pets. In her spare time, she stays busy hiking and training her dog Ramona, snuggling her two cats Braum and Oban, and crocheting.
As a child, Mel had always been surrounded by animals, from the pets in her family to the farm animals she saw at the stables when taking riding lessons. Over the years, her love of animals grew and developed into a passion for animal care. Mel began her career in this field through her high school co-op, working at a pet supplies store as a sales associate. Wanting to learn more about the industry, she chose to work at a local Veterinary Hospital before enrolling in university. Mel graduated and received her Veterinary Medical Office Administration Certificate from the University of Guelph, Ridgetown Campus in 2012. Since then, she has continued working in several veterinary and grooming companies, eventually making her way to become part of the Colborne Veterinary Clinic team. In her spare time, Mel enjoys spending time with her cats, Atreus and Avocato, her family and her friends. She also enjoys playing board games, snowboarding in the winter, or going camping and hiking in the summer.
Growing up Larissa always knew working with animals was something she was destined to do. She has always had a passion for helping and caring for animals, no matter the size or shape! Larissa started her career in veterinary medicine in high school where she completed her co-op placement in 2018. This is where her love for the veterinary industry started. Larissa then went on to attend Northern College where she graduated from the Veterinary Technology Wildlife Rehabilitation program in 2021/2022. From there, Larissa went on and continued her education, graduating from the Animal Grooming program at Northern College in 2023. Outside of work, Larissa can be found camping, travelling and spending time with her boyfriend and their 2 dogs; Lady and Comet. Larissa is excited to expand her knowledge in a general practice setting as well as gaining confidence and experience, all while doing what she loves, helping those in need, and building a connection with clients!
